Child Care from Ozzy's Mr. Crowley, Courtesy of Jack Black

For anyone worrying about the state of child care in America, look no farther than Jack Black's Mr. Crowley.  (Yes, I get the irony of suggesting that Mr. Crowley would be a good source of child care.)  In connection with Black Sabbath's Back to Beginnings concert (which, has an adjunct, has a mammoth series of sets organized by Morello from a dazzling array of rockers), Black, supported by children of rock royalty* (including Morello) and by other young prodigies, has unleashed a historic performance - one for the ages.**

Indeed, Black has now given us three of the most amazing video experiences in rock: (i) School of Rock, (ii) the absurdly underappreciated recreation of The Spirit of Radio with Kurstin x Grohl,*** and now (iii) Mr. Crowley.

I've never been overly excited about Mr. Crowley.  For me, No More Tears was Ozzy's crowing achievement.  I'm now about conflicted about it all.  Enjoy.

* If I'm not mistaken, Scott Ian's mom used to work at Simpson Thacher.

** The performance is actually an homage to a 1981 Ozzy effort, which is also pretty incredible.

*** Look, I'm not much of a Rush fan, but this unseen-by-way-too-many gem is simply unbelievable.
